This homepage is built to recall some memories of an ideal and honest school teacher in Bangladesh, Akhil Chandra Roy who passed away on 25th Dec. 1990. In his long teaching life (over 50 years), Mr. Roy taught a vast number of his students. We have built this homepage to pay tribute to his lifeworks and memories. Due to his modest nature, we could have collected only a little information about him and his way of life. So, if you were somehow in touch with Mr. Roy and know about him something else, please let us know. We will make this page updated regularly to let his admirers know about him more.
(late)Akhil Chandra ROY was a senior high school tecaher at Chandpur city in Bangladesh. He was born in 1914 in Chandpur district in Bangladesh (former Chandpur sub-division, district: Comilla/Tripura, Bangladesh/India). Born and raised in a respectable and modest family, Akhil Chandra Roy was very honest and brilliant from his childhood. He studied in Comilla Victoria College (I.A.), and after completing B.A.(Hons.) from Feni College (under the University of Calcutta), he worked for several senior high schools, of which he worked almost 30 years in D. N. High School (Daraka Nath High School). We have furnished information about Akhil Chandra Roy a bit details here.
